If you’re reading this blog it’s likely because you’re interested in learning about mental health, or relating to someone who is going through the same things as you. I spend a lot of time reading posts from different mental health blogs, as it’s nice to get a different perspective and to see what other people do to get through the day-to-day with a mental illness.
I’ve listed below 8 mental health blogs that I’d recommend you follow, as well as my favourite posts. Enjoy!

Omg thank you so much for the mention! I wasn’t expecting to see my blog on the list to be honest 💗 This has made my evening/night! :3 x
You’re so welcome Ruth! Your blog is brilliant 🙂
Its a little bit of a shame not to see any male bloggers making the list, not saying I should have that honour but there seems to be a lack of male bloggers getting any traction – Congrats to those that did make this list as they are all brilliant at what they do, well done!
Hi Kyle! I totally understand. Over 82% of my readers are female and I see that it’s mostly female bloggers who are active in my Pinterest group board and Facebook group, so it tends to be more female bloggers who are on my radar. I did do a collaboration post with some amazing male bloggers on this post https://anxiouslass.com/men-mental-health/ if you’d like to see what these guys have to say! If there are any male bloggers you follow, I’d be very grateful for recommendations.
It’s not solely for mental health issues, but it is part of the website’s needs. Art of Manliness, is a very huge and famous men’s magazine, that is focused on men’s personal growth and a lot of articles or podcasts interviewing famous authors (often doctors or researchers) feature a lot of information on dealing with stress as a man. There are hundreds of articles, and I haven’t found anything near it. Of course, though, a lot of the advice can also apply to women, especially if you’re into “tomboyish” hobbies, and they interview a lot of strong women in podcasts too.
I also like Leo Babauta’s zen habits, James Clear’s blog by his own name, and Scott Jeffrey’s blog by his own name again. Again, not only for mental illness, but it’s a major part of the blog. Usually you find more male bloggers if you search “personal development blogs,” rather than “mental illness blogs,” and a lot of mental illness stuff tends to get mixed in as a motivation for helping people this way in those blogs.
You may also might benefit from just searching “Depression in men stories,” if you want to look at it specifically, and there is a lot of information around there about this.
Going to check these out!! Love your blog btw! You helped inspire me to start my own mental health blog! 🙂
