What this blog is about:
Anxious Lass is a mental health blog, with its main focus being social anxiety. Written in a casual and candid manner, the blog aims to be a relatable resource for people who want to hear from someone that actually struggles with a mental illness, rather than the plethora of blogs/websites that are only written by professionals in psychology and medicine.
I’ve been asked a lot lately if I accept guest posts and have done on occasion with bloggers who’s writing I love and experiences I can really relate to.
Guest posting for Anxious Lass:
Sometimes I accept guest posts on the blog but only if it’s about a personal story or experience with social anxiety and is written in a more casual and personable way. Don’t be afraid to swear/curse and tell it like it is.
Guests posts that I don’t accept under any circumstances are
- Sales pitches
- “How to” articles from people who don’t have anxiety themselves
- Anything that does not relate to actually having anxiety.
I get a ton of guest post enquiries, so please don’t be offended if I can’t publish your piece but don’t be afraid to ask either. Even if I can’t publish your guest post, I always have room on my resources page if I really love your blog.
